About DASTPO Consulting Limited
Communication and development work, designed to move together.
DASTPO Consulting Limited is a newly launched, Caribbean-rooted consultancy built on Dervin Osbourne’s experience in strategic communications and international development. DASTPO leads communications and development assignments, drawing on a consortium of technical experts to bring the relevant skills and capacity to each project.
Communications for Development. We develop strategies, campaigns and content for television, radio, digital and social media. We translate technical and complex issues into clear, human stories that reach the right audiences, support informed action and make project results visible.
Social Development in Practice. Drawing on Dervin’s more than ten years of experience across public health, climate change, education, youth development, human rights and governance, DASTPO can help partners plan and manage programmes, coordinate government, donor, private-sector and civil-society stakeholders, strengthen local organisations and move priorities from ideas to delivery.

Meet Dervin · The person behind DASTPO
At heart, I’m a connector of people, ideas and institutions.
I’m Dervin Akino St Paul Osbourne, a Jamaican communications and international development practitioner. I began my career in youth advocacy, where I learned early that good development starts by listening to the people most affected, and making room for their ideas to shape the response.
Over the past decade, that belief has taken me across government, diplomatic missions, donor funded programmes, academia and civil society. I have managed the Chevening programme for Jamaica and The Bahamas, coordinated FCDO development funding, supported USAID public health and One Health initiatives, and helped advance Jamaica’s climate governance and legislation.
I hold a master’s degree in Social Development Practice from University College London. My work centres on listening, participation and storytelling—so the experiences of affected communities help shape the decisions being made about them.
I have applied this approach to right-to-the-city issues in Salvador, Brazil; housing conditions affecting adolescent students in South London; the effects of bullying on LGBTQ+ young people in the Caribbean; and participation in climate governance and legislative development.
I created DASTPO Consulting to bring those experiences together: strategic thinking, clear communication and practical coordination grounded in Caribbean realities. Whether I am shaping a campaign, convening partners or guiding a programme, I care about work that people can understand, trust and see themselves in.
